Plantation Island Resort is nestled on the 553 acre island of Malolo LaiLai, part of the Mamanuca Group of islands, just 10 miles offshore west of Nadi International Airport. The island was operated as a copra plantation until 1966 at which time it was developed as a tourist destination. A boat transfer is required to the island. White sand beach stretches for several kilometres.
